THE FOLKESTONE AND HYTHE UNIT OF THE SEA CADET CORPS

Folkestone Unit

TS Invicta was formed in 1942. In 1947, after having to meet in many halls and schools for our parade nights, the unit moved in to its own building in Castle Road in Sandgate. The property remained in the hands of TS Invicta until January 2004. After we moved out, we used a couple of venues before purchasing our current location in Ross Way, Folkestone. Our unit is one of the biggest in East Kent and offers a wide variety of subjects a Sea or Royal Marines Cadet has on offer to complete and gain valuable Life Skills to make a youth into a confident and achieving young adult.
